British manufacturer Neat Acoustics introduced the new Orkestra loudspeaker system, which was a logical follow-up to the whole series that started with the Ekstra model.
The floorstanding loudspeakers are made according to the now classic 2.5-way scheme, but compared to earlier versions, they have a completely different sound, where you can feel the real precision and power of the bass. At the same time, they can perfectly cope with any musical genre from blues and jazz to heavy compositions.
The upper part of the enclosure is made with an insulated acoustic volume in which a 75 mm diameter ribbon tweeter and a 150 mm midrange driver have found their place. The bass driver is a passive subwoofer made from two woofers mounted one above the other and pointing towards the base of the speaker.
However, this solution has already become traditional for the brand. We would like to draw your attention to crossovers with 1 and 2 order filters, which were assembled using audiophile-quality components. Thanks in large part to them, they were able to achieve the utmost clarity and clarity in the range, the upper limit of which reaches 40 kHz. An extremely limited number of loudspeakers can boast of this.
It was somewhat surprising that only standard terminals are available, but it turns out that the problem is solved completely free of charge. Manufacturers have no problem installing bi-wire/bi-amp connectors if asked to do so when ordering.
If you prefer a floorstanding loudspeaker in a classic design, but with a completely new sound delivery, then Orkestra is exactly your choice, you will not regret it. By the way, you can order different types of outdoor finishes.
