New model of network player was announced Aurender N20, which will take a pre-top position in the company's lineup.
Network player Aurender N20 fills the niche between the top models N10 and W20SE, and given that the latter is the flagship, the new model will take a pre-top position in the company's lineup. Model N20 is the next evolutionary step in the development of N10, in which were improved many key components. To reduce noise levels and improve sound quality, the power supply has been completely redesigned: it uses new transformers, increased capacity audiophile capacitors and uses an insulated earth bus circuit.

All SPDIF outputs are now also isolated from the common ground by transformers, thus reducing the interference level when connecting via AES/EBU, coaxial and optical outputs. By using OCXO quartz oscillators, the stability of digital circuits has been improved multiple times, thus reducing jitter. Music is now played more clearly, rhythmically and expressively. In addition, the N20 has the ability to synchronize digital circuits from an external clock and the next generation USB Audio Class 2.0 output with minimal delay and jitter suppression. The Ethernet port is equipped with double galvanic isolation, as with the older models W20SE and ACS10.
The player will be available in two versions: with hard drives with total capacity of 4 and 8 terabytes. Like the A30, ACS10 and ACS100 models, the new N20 will have a super capacitor bank that acts as an uninterruptible power supply, allowing the device to safely shut down and disconnect the built-in drives in the event of an emergency power failure.

The updated electronic stuffing has been packed in a new taller case, thanks to which N20 looks more massive and solid than the younger model N10. On the facade is a color widescreen display with a resolution of 1980x480 and a diagonal of 8.8 inches, as in the model A30. For stable playback of DSD512 and other high-bitrate content, the N20 player has 8 GB of RAM, and the size of the SSD-cache is increased to 500 GB. The caching drive performance was significantly improved by choosing the M2 NVME drive instead of the usual SATA.
Aurender N20 will be available in two traditional colors: black and silver.
The new model is expected to be on sale in November 2020 with an approximate retail price of 1,150,000 rubles (depending on the modification).
