Russian distributor TechnoLogica presented a new brand in its portfolio - it was the Danish company Peak Consult, which has been producing Ultra High End loudspeakers for 25 years.

Also in the manufacture of cases Peak Consult does not use new materials such as carbon, composite, aluminum and others. As the company's engineers say, they tried to use these materials, but found that these materials are not very good for speaker cabinets. So, Peak Consult chooses the best option - HDF.
As for the finishing, there is also something to discuss in more detail. The company uses only solid wood (!), the thickness of which reaches up to 8 centimeters. Peak says that almost all other High End loudspeakers use wood veneer. But not in Peak Consult. Only an array of wood. Wood for the side panels is selected by tapping as for musical instruments. The solid wood surface is then sanded 4 times and oiled 5 times with special formulations to create a premium product feeling and a great appearance. All wood comes from certified environmentally friendly wood species and is of the highest quality.
The front panels of all Peak Consult speakers are finished in leather. This improves diffraction and the ability of the loudspeakers to completely "disappear" in sound reproduction. The enclosures in the Serinity Line models (top of the PEAK range) are the most extreme products of the company. They have no audible resonances in the sound spectrum.
Drivers used by Peak Consult are characterized by advanced technologies and materials. All Peak Consult speakers are custom-made to unique specifications by hand and exclusively in Denmark.
All Peak Consult speakers are equipped with a 26mm soft dome tweeter. These tweeters have a unique magnetic system consisting of 6 (!) neodymium magnets in a specific configuration, and a special rear chamber to eliminate reflections and resonances. This allows Peak Consult tweeters to far exceed the performance of tweeters with conventional designs. Each tweeter is carefully matched to within 0.1 dB in pairs, and on Serenity Line models, each tweeter is matched in pairs to an unprecedented 0.05 dB.
As for the midrange and bass drivers, special attention is paid to technologies such as a one-piece sandwich diffuser, which has perfect stiffness and damping, as well as an injection molded driver basket with internal magnetic systems, which allows the dynamics to start and stop much faster than traditional designs. Note the Kapton voice coil with aluminum wiring and hexacoil winding technique. This makes the motor much lighter than traditional devices and allows for more efficient and faster heat dissipation.
As a result, the Peak Consult drivers have extremely low distortion, excellent impulse response and a smooth, colourless frequency spectrum. Absolute accuracy at different volume levels is also noted.
In the crossovers of speakers Peak Consult, the company uses the best components and technical solutions. For example, in the crossover for Dragon, each component is shielded in its own box. Thus, the crossover is almost 2 meters wide. Note that in crossovers, the company's engineers, including the use of proprietary and proprietary designs, which are created in-house at the production Peak Consult.
In all crossovers Peak Consult does not use soldering on the signal path. Also crossovers have impedance correction PEAK Liniear.
Thanks to this impedance correction, almost any amplifier can effectively work with Peak Consult loudspeakers. But more importantly, this technology can make the amplifier show its best performance.
All Peak Consult loudspeakers are equipped with high quality acoustic terminals. They are made of pure silver plated copper and have no soldering in the signal path. For non-conductive parts, the design uses a high strength glass fiber reinforced polymer. Peak emphasizes that the terminals provide high contact pressure through an optimized thread design and are easy to tighten by hand.
Peak Consult also pays attention to the packaging of acoustic systems. The packaging is individual for each loudspeaker. It is of very high quality and guarantees the safety of precious cargo transportation. It is noted that the packaging is completely built in Denmark at its own company Peak Consult by the same masters as the speakers themselves.
