TN-5BB is a new flagship vinyl record player that features a balanced phono output for MC type heads. It has a multilayer hybrid chassis made of synthetic marble, Japanese traditional paper "Washi" and MDF, and a 9-inch S-shaped universal tonearm with knife type bearing.
Vinyl turntables are special tools for extracting all the passion of performers and magic of their sound engineers, which were captured in the grooves of gramophone records. Black as resin, a layer of synthetic marble and an MDF board coated with black piano lacquer are really worthy foundations of the TN-5BB model, which provides both suppression of unwanted vibrations and majestic and modern design. Using built-in XLR connectors to work with a phono preamplifier, such as the TEAC PE-505, which supports balance connection, you can recreate even the weakest signals from the cartridge with even greater clarity and reliability. The knife bearing tonearm, based on SAEC and TEAC, is another component that helps to present the music scene to listeners even better. The 20 mm thick massive acrylic disk is driven by an electric motor, whose speed is stabilized by the Platter Rotation Sensing Servo System (PRS3).
