Quinta company LISZT loudspeakers have won the outstanding Golden Ear Award 2015! Vienna Acoustics LISZT is the result of years of development to enhance the patented Flat-Spider-Cone™ combined speaker system, which was first used in The Music's flagship model and then in the entire Klimt Series™.
At the heart of the new loudspeaker is a brand new midrange unit, featuring a flat 15cm head with twelve large 16mm stiffening ribs and a glass fibre-reinforced, self-adhesive X3P polymer material. The drive unit consists of a massive 50mm voice coil surrounded by a heavy-duty neodymium magnet assembly whose sound is independent of the listener's position and room acoustics.
In the centre of the new tweeter, a new tweeter with a neodymium drive unit and a hand-woven silk wrapped dome diaphragm, developed by Vienna Acoustics, is installed in a precisely coordinated position. More than two years of development of the new driver have resulted in the best tweeter.
The new neodymium magnet coil tweeter was developed in collaboration with ScanSpeak, based on the famous Concert Grand Series™, to achieve a wide dynamic range and coherent operation, hence full integration with the midrange.
The bass is delivered by three patented VA Spider- Cone bass heads, which are mounted in two separately configurable enclosures, making it possible to significantly expand the bass range, with very dense and clear bass reproduction and excellent attack without lengthy after-sound.
As with all other products in the Imperial series, unique acoustic outputs of its own design with a single-wire combination are used. All components of the separation filters have a set error of less than 1% compared to a reference speaker of 0.3 dB.
