Hi Aziz, I haven't compared to CH dac. A friend in London become buying auditioned vivaldi, CH and GG2 in his system, and choose GG2. A friend in Hong Kong owned CH, now bought the Lampi Pacific after an audition. I don't have exposure to CH dacs but have very good exposure to CH systems running various set ups at friend's places including Wilson Alexandria x2S2.

I am very familiar with the Lampi as it is my favorite thing in hifi. For all else, there is a choice. For recordings, turntables, horns, planars, amps, etc. For digital I am very clear. I have compared Lampi GG to MSB select 2, two of my friends own that and MSB platinum, I have compared it to trinity, vivaldi, 40k Aries cerat dac, and Nagra HD. Also esoteric k01 in three of my friend's systems. A friend of mine with trinity, 75k Stahltek dac and transport, neodio origine, and aqua formula, sold all his dacs and now uses the Lampi. In analog, you can always change the gain of the system and other settings, by changing cart, arm, phono etc. However with dacs you can only change externals like cables and isolation. However with Lampi DHT dacs you can change the internal by changing the tubes. My favorites are KR 242, PX25, and the special globe anniversary 45. the 242 is the toughest to manage and usually sounds poor till you get it right. Then you are in love. It is worth rotating downstream electronics and changing Lampi gain to get the 242 singing, as it is a high gain tube.
